If you’re in the New York area, and you love Edgar Allan Poe, or if you’re simply a fan of good theatre, check out my friend’s show, Poe-Dunk: A Matchbox Entertainment, playing at the Frigid Festival. The production by Playlab NYC covers several of Poe’s short stories, poems and essays, each brought to life in a tiny matchbox setting, with tiny match characters. It’s a play the whole family can enjoy, from children to longtime Poe fans. You can read more about the creation of this show here. It will play at The Red Room through March 3rd, so be sure to get your tickets ASAP.
